Volunteer OPPORTUNITIES With his place

Volunteers play a vital role in all areas of our work at His Place

The charity and all aspects of its work is delivered by volunteers in roles that are both skilled and unskilled. Whether you are interested in heritage, community work, events, or music history, we’d love to hear from you.  No matter what your skill or interest, even an hour makes a difference.

We offer opportunities for training and regular social events,  so come and try your hand as a barista, cooking, tour guide, researcher, writing for social media, or helping to look after our beautiful building.

Volunteers working more than 4 hours on a day when the cafe is open will be provided with a light lunch and unlimited tea and coffee. Volunteers working at other times are provided with unlimited tea and coffee. All volunteers are able to access free tickets to shows at Henry Ward Hall.

If you’d like to find out more or to apply, please complete our interest form and we will be in touch within a few days.   If you have a physical or health challenge do not be put off we do our best to provide inclusive volunteering opportunities.
